This write up is being done from memory but yes, I remember this r*n.
It all started on a fine Summer Sunday from the pub car park in Silverdale with a short exploration of the shoreline whilst checking the first check. On trail we headed out of the village and through some sort of camp site. Ah yes, this is the bit I remember. In fine style I overstretched my stride, lost my footing and ended up on the ground with a twisted ankle. "That hurt", I said!
Somehow (with gritted teeth and fighting the pain) we ended up admiring the view from Arnside Knot in the opposite direction from Heysham Power Station - that was novel.
Over the Knot and down to the beer stop. It's at this point the write up goes blank as I hitched a lift from a hare back to Silverdale where a fine pack of hounds finished together and on to the circle in the pub car park.
